Cropped Image Width also denotes the actual size of an image, however after it has been cropped. Cropping is a process in which only a part of the image is kept and excess image data is cut off. That way, a smaller image containing only part of the original subject remains.
Depending how the image has been cropped, the Cropped Image Width is smaller or at least as high as the image width, but never bigger. Files that contain this information can also carry values of the original image width before the cropping.
